I started at 8am and did my 10km run in 1hr 5mins. Which is pretty decent based on the way I have been doing in the last few weeks. Today's run was more comfortable and easier than my weekly runs, but am still nowhere close to my target of 35-40kms a week. A long way to go... My Sunday runs are the most enjoyable and its never a effort to get up in the morning, weekly runs are a totally different story. The strides seem to be better and things seem a lot easier on Sundays.
I am yet to hear from Singapore marathon or the GTM guys. But, with my current level of preparation it seems a tall order, but I have time on my hand...

Hi Girish! Go Bedders! is back so what's this I see on your blog - negative thoughts? You have plenty of time, you will be in great shape and most of all, don't panic. That's a fine time for a 10km so gradually get the distance up no more than 20% extra per week. And if you need some energy drink sent out let me know!

Hi Girish. Been a long time since we met. Nice to see that you've been running even more regularly. Sure the summer heat must be taxing with the high levels of humidity, but we know you have he will power to go thru all this. I am sure you will reach the top with your kinda determination. Let me give you an incentive for a good run this Sunday, lets meet for coffee after that ;) Ciao take care

Thank Ian, nice to see you back in action on Blogosphere!! Thanks for the encouraging words, will keep running....
I know I have enough time to get back in great shape, but was feeling low on Sunday after the run as some or the other part of my leg is sore for the last 6 weeks or so. It just does not seem to return to regular normal state. I can easily run through the soreness, but am not sure if I should continue to do it or take a break again. I have tried taking breaks as well, but nothing seems to work. My frame of mind, energy levels and weather are good, just need to figure out a way to set right the soreness in my legs.
